Educational teambuilding day out with the Bantry Bratts

In November the Bantry Bay Team travelled to the lovely town of Hermanus to learn more about whales and the area in general. The team set out around town with the task of learning about the history and tourist attractions of the area. They collectively collaborated and managed top marks in getting all the questions correct. After we enjoyed a lovely Lunch on the water’s edge at the amazing Bientang’s Cave restaurant.

DSTV Owners Survey

Further to the DSTV survey conducted earlier this we have now upgraded our selection of channels.

News was clearly the important channel to have with SKY and BBC news topping the selections this was closely followed by Movies and Sports.

Documentary channels came in next and attracted the most comments with regards to the available channels in the full package with National Geographic and Discovery Channel being the most popular. On the Kiddies channel selection the Disney Channel came out tops.

Whilst it is clear that most owners are happy with the current selection we have upgraded our selection to incorporate most of the results from the survey.

We would like to thank all the owners who took the time to complete the survey and give valuable feedback on the channel selection.

The new Channel Selection can be viewed at the following link :  Channel Guide

Table Mountain is a New7Wonder of Nature!

Table Mountain is a place of breathtaking views, a haven for adventure sport enthusiasts, a flora and fauna sanctuary and offers majestic beauty - undoubtedly why Table Mountain is one of the New7Wonders of Nature.

Towering 1 085 metres above the city of Cape Town, Table Mountain is often covered with cloud known as the table cloth. This is how Table Mountain got its name.

The view on top of the mountain is unsurpassed and there are 11 viewpoints from which to take in the spectacular views of the city, the coastline, the ocean, Robben Island and the Cape Peninsula. The journey to the top of Table Mountain may take many routes, while the journey down includes an opportunity to do the longest commercial abseil in the world. Although, you may prefer the cable car which has a rotating floor to ensure you get a 360 degree view while travelling up or down.
Table Mountain is also a place of richly diverse flora and fauna as the flat-topped sandstone plateau was formed 600 million years ago. Over 1 400 plant species occur while the Ghost Frog occurs nowhere else in the world.
